Ada Ciganlija, a peninsula, until not too long ago an island on the right side of the Sava River, 3,5 km upstream from its confluence with the Danube. It was one of the largest river island in the country with 286 hectares.
Today Ada is the largest urban sport recreation center, including the large Savsko Lake, the most visited bathing place.
In the evening Ada becomes very visited place because of the popular clubs with live music.
