From Topčider, one enters Košutnjak passing by „Hajdučka česma „ or Insurgents’ Fountain,once the gathering point of Serbian insurgents against Ottoman rule.
Košutnjak is a park – forest situated on a 250 m high hill. Until 1903 it was a closed royal hunting ground. Today there are numerous paths and trim track going through the woods and wooden tables and benches for the picnickers. Thera are also a swimming pool, football pitches, tennnis and basketball courts.
